BMW Kidney Grille
As the central visual highlight, the BMW kidney grille underlines the presence and aesthetics of the vehicle in the front view.
Slim Rear LED lights
Striking narrow full-LED rear lights set a modern statement with their three-dimensional design. They pick up the lines of the surrounding surfaces an continue them, thus emphasizing the broad stance of the vehicle.
Two part Electric Tailgate
Both the upper and the lower part of the tailgate can be opened and closed electrically. This facilitates access and loading of the luggage compartment. The lower part of the tailgate can also be used as a practical seat.
BMW Laserlight
In laser high-beam mode, BMW Laserlight in a unique X design illuminates a range of up to 600 m, nearly twice as far as that of conventional headlights. Better visibility in the dark significantly increases safety. The blue X signature and the “BMW Laser” lettering underline the vehicle’s technological standards.
22’’ light alloy wheels

Air Breather
The air breather behind the front wheel arches with the hockey stick extended to the rear visually underlines the aesthetic character and length of the vehicle as a decorative element.
Chrome Bar
The horizontally running chrome bar between the rear lights accentuates the sporty-elegant character of the vehicle. Just as in the BMW 7 Series luxury limousine, the chrome strip forms an accentuated contrast to the selected body colour and creates a harmonious connection between the powerful side sections and the rear.
INTERIOR
Crafted Clarity glass application
The CraftedClarity glass application comprises hand-made crystal glass elements that visually and tactilely enhance the interior. The details of the gear selector, volume control, iDrive Controller and Start/Stop button are made of fine crystal glass.
Instrument panel in Sensatec
The sophisticate aesthetic of the instrument panel in sensatec adds a luxurious touch to the interior.

Six- or seven-seater
The fully-fledged 3rd row of seats also comes as standard with decorative trim, ambient light, two cupholders and its own glass roof. To ensure easy access, the 2nd row of seats can be folded forward with the Easy-Entry function. Thanks to the two individually moveable and adjustable individual seats in the 2nd row of seats with 6 seats in the vehicle, rear passengers enjoy a higher level of travel comfort. At the same time, access to the 3rd row of seats is facilitated.
Panorama glass roof Sky Lounge
The Panorama glass roof Sky Lounge creates an atmospheric ambience, especially in the dark, with a light graphic composed of over 15,000 lighting elements. The light design can be switched between the six colours of the Ambient light.
Ambient light
The standard Ambient light includes the ambient contour lighting and creates a relaxing, cosy lighting atmosphere in the interior. The six dimmable lighting designs also include a dynamic function in four applications. The Welcome Light Carpet illuminates the area in front of the vehicle doors when getting in and out.

Innovative Assistance
Parking Assistant with Surround View Camera
The Parking Assistant with Surround View Camera can handle the most difficult parking spots with ease. You can go in and out of parking spots with precision due to the system control the steering while you still have control of the accelerator, gears, and brakes. The Reversing Assistant supports you when reversing out of narrow lanes. Surround View includes rear view camera with Panorama View, Top View and 3D View.
BMW Live Cockpit Professional
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes a high-quality display network consisting of a high-resolution 12.3" Control Display that can be operated by touch and a fully digital 12.3" instrument display.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Preparation for Apple CarPlay®1,2 supports the convenient and wireless use of selected iPhone® functions in the vehicle. This allows smartphone content and functions such as music, iMessages/ text messages, telephony, Siri and selected third-party apps to be displayed and operated via the vehicle’s user interface and via voice control.
Reversing Assistant
The Reversing Assistant stores the last 50 m of the driven path in forward travel up to 35 km/h, so that it can be retracted if required. You are relieved of the steering work and can concentrate on monitoring the vehicle.
Harman Kardon Surround Sound System
The tonally outstanding Harman Kardon surround sound system features a 464 W digital amplifier, nine channels and 16 speakers. Its sophisticated sound perfectly fills the interior space. Vehicle-specific, speed-dependent equalising precisely compensates for any background driving noise.
BMW Gesture Control
With BMW Gesture Control, certain functions can be operated by means of defined hand movements. For certain operations the system will for example recognise gestures such as 'swiping' or 'pointing' for accepting or rejecting an incoming call, or circular motions of the index finger to adjust volume.
Luxury and Comfort Features
Wireless charging
Telephony with wireless charging incorporates a wireless charging dock and a second microphone for a better hands-free voice quality for you and your front passenger.
Travel and Comfort System
The Travel & Comfort system includes two additional USB ports (type C) and a preparation for two multifunctional holders in the rear of the vehicle. Tablets, clothes hangers or folding tables, for example, can be attached to them.
Comfort Access
The Comfort access system makes it possible to open all of the vehicle doors without using the key and to start the vehicle by pressing a button, while the key remains in the pocket. The tailgate can be opened and closed without even being touched with a quick wave of the foot under the rear bumper.
Welcome Light Carpet
The Welcome Light Carpet function projects a light graphic in front of the vehicle doors and creates an inviting welcome ambience right at the entrance. Getting out of the car in the dark is thus even safer and more comfortable.
Rear-seat entertainment Professional
Rear-seat entertainment Professional includes two separate high-resolution 10.2" colour screens with touch function that can be tilted and a Blu-ray drive. In this way, it becomes possible to use navigation and internet functions while driving (if a mobile phone contract exists). Additionally, a USB port and connections for MP3 players, game consoles and headphones (even wireless) are included.
Temperature-controlled cupholders
The temperature-controlled cupholders in the centre console can individually cool or keep stored beverages warm. The temperature control is activated via buttons on the left and right. The ambient lighting also indicates the function (blue for cooling or red for heating).
Automatic air conditioning with 5-zone control
Thanks to the Automatic air conditioning with 5-zone control, the temperature for the driver and front passenger, the left and right sides of the 2nd row of seats and for the 3rd row of seats can be set independently of one another. Each fellow traveller can thus enjoy the most pleasant climate for him or her.

The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system smoothly and variably distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for maximum traction, driving dynamics and safety in every driving situation. For even better agility, the electronically controlled power distribution for instance counterbalances oversteer or understeer on bends.
Adaptive 2-axle air suspension
The standard Adaptive 2-axle air suspension makes driving particularly comfortable with high driving dynamics and makes it easier to get in and out and load the vehicle. The air suspension automatically keeps the vehicle at a constant height regardless of the load. It can also be raised or lowered manually at the touch of a button.
