CHECKLIST FOR RETURNING YOUR BMW.
Insurance Claims (Optional).
Your Select agreement is subject to fair wear and tear. Prior to your vehicle valuation, please contact your insurer to assist with repairs should you have any damages to your vehicle.
Vehicle Condition Assessment.
Prior to returning your vehicle to your preferred BMW Retailer, a complimentary vehicle condition assessment needs to be completed by our approved assessor TÜV SÜD.

Schedule an appointment with your preferred BMW Retailer.
After concluding your vehicle condition assessment, you can contact the Finance & Insurance Manager at your preferred BMW Retailer to schedule an appointment for your vehicle return.
Please note that the vehicle must be returned within 4 days of the assessment being completed and at least 7 days prior to your contract end date.
Return your vehicle to your BMW retailer.
When returning your BMW to your retailer, you will be required to complete the vehicle return checklist.
Please ensure that you bring along your all vehicle keys, the service book and all vehicle equipment such as the luggage compartment cover, tools, mobility kit, spare wheel etc.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BMW 360˚ FINANCE PLAN.
How do we determine the assured buyback/balloon value for a contract?
Based on the customer’s preference of car, term and annual mileage, a pre-defined grid is used to calculate the assured buyback value which is calculated on the ex-showroom price.
What are the to-dos for a customer during the tenure?
The customer should keep a check on their vehicle’s mileage and maintenance during the tenure.
What will happen if a car is involved in an accident during the end-of-term process (i.e. any damage to the car after the car inspection/ evaluation and before the end of the contract term)?
In case of any accidental damage, the repair can be covered as per the customer’s insurance policy. This will be governed as per the wear and tear guide, the customer can either repair and bring the car back in returnable condition or pay for excess wear and tear. The vehicle must not have undergone any structural damage/s.
What is the end-of-term process and when does it start?
The process for end-of-term starts 90 days prior to the contract end date, wherein:
The customer is required to inform the dealership about his decision to return the car at least 90 days prior to the end-of-term and furnish the car at the dealership at least 45 days before the end-of-term for inspection. Post-inspection the dealership will raise an invoice for excess mileage and wear and tear (if any). The customer will be then required to make the above payment and return the car in the agreed condition to the dealership on the last day of the contract term.
What if the dealer offering BMW 360˚ Finance Plan ceases its operation at the time of the end of the contract term?
The car will be returned to the newly appointed dealership or any other dealership taking over the liabilities of the existing dealership.
What happens in case the customer wants to go for an early termination?
Buyback agreement between dealership and customer becomes void and an early termination process will be initiated along with applicable charges as per the terms and conditions of the retail finance contract. The customer can still choose the option of selling the car to the dealership at the prevailing market value.
What are the tenure and mileage options available?
Tenure: 24 months, 36 months, 48 months, 60 months available for selected models with defined mileage options.
Mileage: 10,000 kilometers, 15,000 kilometers, 20,000 kilometers.
What is the excess mileage charge and how is it applied at the end of the contract term?
Excess Mileage = (Actual Mileage at end of contract term – Contracted Mileage) X per kilometer excess mileage charge.
Excess kilometer charges are as follows:
Countryman/X1/ 2GC/3 Series/ 3GT/ 5 Series/ 6GT: INR 20 per kilometer
X3/ X4/ X5/X7/ 7 Series: INR 30 per kilometer.
What will be the applicable interest rate for refinancing the final amount at end of the contract term?
It will be as per the applicable refinance interest rate at that point in time.
Will it be possible for the customer to make part-payment and go for any kind of restructuring in the finance contract?
No, part-payment is not allowed under the BMW 360° Finance Plan, in case of any part-payment the contract will be restructured and the BMW 360° Finance Plan contract will become null and void.
Can demo vehicles be pitched under this program?
Yes, unregistered demo vehicles can be offered however the contract mileage will be inclusive of the existing kilometers on the vehicle. Further, the assured buyback value will be the same as the value of the new car offered.
